1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Groove ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Groove is owned and operated by Force Codes. These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Force Codes regarding your use of the App and the website at groove.is.

2. Description of Service

Groove is a free iOS application available on the Apple App Store. The App allows you to:

• Log and track your gym workouts and lifting sessions
• Calculate estimated one-rep max (1RM) values based on your sets
• View strength rankings across a 12-tier system from Bronze to Champion
• Track your progress over time

The App is provided free of charge. No credit card, subscription, or payment is required to use any feature.

3. User Responsibilities

When using Groove, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when logging workouts
• Use the App only for its intended purpose of personal fitness tracking
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute the App or its source code
• Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
• Take full responsibility for your own physical safety when exercising

4. Health and Safety Disclaimer

Groove is not a medical or health advice service. The App is a workout tracking tool only. Nothing in the App should be interpreted as medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation.

Specifically:

• Consult a physician before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions, injuries, or concerns about your physical ability to train.
• 1RM calculations are estimates. They are derived from mathematical formulas and should not be used to determine the maximum weight you attempt to lift. Always use a spotter and practice proper form.
• Strength ranks are for motivation, not medical assessment. The ranking system compares your lifts against general population benchmarks. It is not a clinical evaluation of your health or fitness.
• You are responsible for your own safety in the gym. Groove does not supervise, instruct, or monitor your workouts. Use proper technique, appropriate weights, and adequate rest.

Force Codes is not liable for any injuries, health issues, or damages that may result from exercise activities you perform while using or referencing the App.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, logos, and the Groove name are the intellectual property of Force Codes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App or website without prior written permission.

The rank system, tier names, strength standards, and associated visual design elements are proprietary to Groove and Force Codes.

6. Limitation of Liability

Groove is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Force Codes does not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
• The results or calculations provided by the App will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the App will be corrected

In no event shall Force Codes be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, regardless of the cause of action or theory of liability.

7. Termination

You may stop using Groove at any time by deleting the App from your device. Force Codes reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice or liability.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in accordance with those laws.

9. Changes to These Terms

Force Codes may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
